Youth Theatre Camps

Picture
Great Northern Theatre Company is pleased to offer three weeks of theatre camp in conjunction with Rocori Area Community Ed. Camps will take place in the Gym at John Clark Elementary in Rockville.

Step into the spotlight and bring the magic of theatre to life in this exciting play-in-a-week camp! Young performers in grades 2-8 will explore the world of Roald Dahl’s Matilda Jr.—a tale of courage, curiosity, and a little bit of mischief.

Throughout the week, students will develop acting, singing, and dancing skills while preparing for a fully staged performance at the end of the session. The immersive experience includes auditions, rehearsals, choreography, costuming, and more. Every participant will be cast in a speaking role and have the opportunity to perform a musical number on stage.

Camp Options
  • Week 1: June 9-13, 2025
  • Week 2: June 23-27, 2025
  • Week 3: July 7-11, 2025

The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with public performances on Friday afternoon of camp.

Registration is $100 and can be done through ROCORI Community Education online by clicking here.
